Marvel actress Xochitl Gomez took home the Mirrorball Trophy last year, with singer Jason Mraz hot on her heels in second place. It was an amazing season. But can Season 33 top it all?

Dancing With The Stars Season 33 Could Have A Star-Studded Line-Up
Fans are certain the DWTS casting department is hard at work, doing everything to secure the best talent available for the upcoming season.
This year, many pro athletes and reality stars top viewers’ wish lists.
After retiring from the NFL, many hoped Jason Kelce would join Dancing With The Stars this year. Pro dancer Jenna Johnson already publicly proclaimed she wants him as her celebrity partner. He hasn’t confirmed nor denied his intentions for the fall, leaving many DWTS fans hoping for the best.
DWTS also reportedly wanted Caitlin Clark to join the competition this year, but she politely declined. She would definitely draw in many viewers but simply has too many commitments for the time being.
In the future, things could always change.

As for reality stars, names like Joey Graziadei and Gerry Turner have been thrown around.
Bachelor Nation’s Gerry Turner made headlines as the first Golden Bachelor. He dominated headlines once again months later when he announced he and Theresa Nist were getting divorced.
Meanwhile, Joey Graziadei just finished up his season of The Bachelor. It’s not at all uncommon for the most recent leads of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to enter the ballroom.
The Final Cast List Is Still Anyone’s Guest
While Dancing With The Stars loves to secure A-lister talent, they generally also invite people who make headlines. Tiger King‘s Carole Baskin joined the cast of Season 29, which drummed up quite a bit of attention.
Other names floating around for Season 33 include:
- The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke
- Survivor and The Traitors star Parvati Shallow
- Former Good Morning America hosts Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes
- American Idol alum David Archuleta
Once the celebrities commit, the pro dancers receive an invitation and meet their celebrity partners. DWTS generally also keeps a few stars as backups in case someone pulls out just before the season premiere. But at this point, the final cast list is still anyone’s guess.
