Tyler Cameron has been on several reality shows, but there’s one he just won’t do. He’s been offered The Bachelor a surprising amount of times but keeps turning it down. Keep reading to find out why.

Tyler Cameron Reveals Shocking Number Of Times He’s Been Offered The Bachelor

Tyler Cameron has only been on one season of a Bachelor Nation show but has remained one of the most popular alums from the franchise. Viewers first met him when he pursued a romance with Hannah Brown on Season 15 of The Bachelorette. She broke his heart when she chose Jed Wyatt over Tyler in the season finale. Her engagement to Jed didn’t last but she’s formed a lifelong friendship with Tyler Cameron.

While he holds no ill will toward his ex, Tyler has always been hesitant to seek love on reality TV again. He’s competed on other reality shows, like Fox’s The Real Dirty Dancing and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

The Florida native has also made appearances on Saturday Night Live, the sitcom Single Parents, and the Netflix flick Good On Paper. He made a cameo on Season 25 of The Bachelor to play a prank on bestie Matt James.

But when it comes to being the lead, he has turned ABC down multiple times. How many? During an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live this week, he told Andy Cohen that he’s been offered The Bachelor “4 or 5 times.”

Why He Keeps Turning It Down

In addition to being a reality star, Tyler Cameron is a construction contractor who specializes in home renovations. His new career meets his old one on the new Amazon Prime series Going Home With Tyler Cameron.

So, he clearly has nothing against reality TV. Tyler just doesn’t seem interested in going through the experience he had on The Bachelorette again. But maybe ABC should keep asking.

“I’ll never say never,” Tyler Cameron said on WWHL about the possibility he’ll join The Bachelor. He added, “My theory in life is to tell the greatest story you can tell,” hinting at why he keeps turning it down.
