‘The Voice’ Takes More Heat From Unhappy Fans

Season 25 of The Voice is not going well for NBC. Fans are not the least bit happy about how the current season is turning out. It appears NBC is doing nothing but give them reason after reason to stop watching their megahit reality television show.

The Voice Is Too Country

One of the biggest complaints fans of The Voice have is the reality show is too country. With the addition of Reba McEntire and Dan + Shay, they believe there are too many country artists appearing on the show and not enough artists from other music genres like rock and roll.

There have been several comments made on the different social media outlets to fire Reba McEntire. There have also been comments, calling for Dan + Shay to be fired as well. However, it is Reba McEntire taking most of the heat because it appears, she is the one judge they dislike the most.

The Voice Needs Blake Shelton Back?

The fans of The Voice are also demanding Blake Shelton return as a judge for the reality show. They are not happy the country music megastar is no longer a part of the show. Despite the fact he is a country music singer, Blake Shelton is still a fan favorite.

It seems a bit odd that fans who are complaining about The Voice being “too country” are demanding a singer who sings “chew tobacco, chew tobacco, chew tobacco, spit” to come back to the show. It is unknown if NBC is unable or unwilling to get the “Boys ‘Round Here” singer to return.

The Fans’ Latest Complaint

The latest fan complaint about The Voice appears to be an ongoing issue with the formatting of the reality show. The battle round between Dani Stacy and Corey Curtis was cut short. Instead showing the entire song, the battle was shown as montage.

“No way you montage Dani Stacy…. she had one of the best auditions,” a social media user commented. Another user went into more detail when they added, “A montage of Dani’s battle, singing Best Part! I cannot believe it! So many of us counting the days for this battle, as she was one of the best auditions! TV show’s productions can really get on the nerves sometimes, not gonna lie…”

Fans are not seeing this as being fair. They are unhappy with The Voice and not the least bit pleased with the decisions being made by NBC. If something is not done to win them back, it is quite possible the ratings might begin to tank.

  1. I think the voice is doing the best they can. people want to bitch about the country stars but don’t say nothing about the black stars like John and Chance the Rapper. chance us a producer and teacher and definitely has a place there I would like to see female pop star like Gwen, Miley, Alicia ect…Remember the ONLY winners that have gone on to do something is the country singers…

  2. I don’t see what the issue is. if there weren’t any county judges, everyone could be complaining about that. The show has brought many different judges in at different times, what difference does it make.
Bottom line is that you can’t please everyone no matter what you do.

  3. this
this is the most blatant attempt to try to get rid of Reba who is a superstar. I watch this constantly and both Reba and the Dan and Shay combo are always turning for other genres if they are good. I see it as purely ignorance.

  4. I like all the judges. Chance is great. I love Reba but she doesn’t do as much squabbling on the show. I love Blake and wouldn’t complain if he returned. The Voice seems to constantly be reducing the number of participants who can appear. This round is very country—but I love country!

  5. I like the country music and think all of the judges are great. I do wish you would show less back stories and more singing. I wanted to hear Dani Stacy sing.

  6. I think The Voice will never be the same without Blake Shelton, but I LOVE Reba, Dan and Shay! Everyone needs to give time to adjust to no Blake on the show! Country music is so popular is the reason there are two country music coaches. However they all coach different styles of artists on the show. It will take a little time to find different coaches that will fit right in, but the coaches for season 25 are great! They are all successful artists and should be shown respect for all their hard work to get them to this point!

  7. We have been fans from the beginning through all the coaching changes! We are very disappointed that coaches are soft selling even blatantly bad performances.
Dan and Shay are idiots and are ruining the experience for me. Chance doesn’t really know what he’s doing …. Including not having ever heard some of the songs.
John Legend is brilliant but is getting shined on…. No Respect 😡 for his masterful skills.
Reba is not a positive addition….. just sitting there and smiling ain’t enough.
Maybe this show has run its course…. Can’t recreate the bromance and rivalries of the past and the newer people just don’t get it
    😬😡😬😡😬

  8. I like the show and have no complaints about country singers. in fact I kind of like the country. I do miss Blake he added a lot to the show. the thing I don’t like is in between the contestants all the little acting bits. there’s too much of that and too corny. I’d like to see more of the show in the contestants. I love Reba and always have but she offers chicken nuggets as a reward???

  9. I am enjoying the show and like all the judges. They each bring different knowledge with them. I love how Chance and Dan & Shay are so real with the contestants. Reba and John have the most experience and therefore come from a different place.

  10. Carson seems very unhappy and robotic this season. For me this makes watching the show uncomfortable. There is really nothing fun or entertaining this season.

  11. We totally enjoy The Voice and the judges. Chance and John seem to offer more critique to help their team win, and Reba and Dan and Shay always encourage confidence. All the judges put the singers first and don’t compete for attention by their actions or costumes. Fun show and great opportunity for new talent to be recognized.
