‘Shark Tank’: Where To Buy Fila Manila
Shark Tank is back with a brand-new episode and the makers of the Fila Manila food item are heading in to tempt the sharks. This is a company making Filipino American cuisine and they are hoping the sharks will like what they see and will offer up an investment. However, in the crowded food industry, it needs to be something special.
Here is what you need to know about Fila Manila from Shark Tank and where you can buy it.
What Is Fila Manila From Shark Tank?
Jake Deleon started Fila Manila as a Filipino American cuisine business in 2020. Jake was born in the Philippines but he grew up in New Jersey and realized that something was missing when it came to the food he loved from back home. He decided to fill in that gap and offer his beloved Filipino American food and culture to foodies in the United States.
Fila Manila is a business that consists of authentic Filippino simmer sauces. All the products are gluten- and dairy-free and vegan. He also refuses to use artificial colors and keeps the food as healthy and clean as possible. While he has a Computer Design degree from college, he worked mostly in the food industry.
Jake worked for Procter and Gamble and learned more about CPG before moving on to work with brands like Pringles and Starbucks. He then quit working for other people and decided he wanted to create his own company. He started with Origin Almond, a line of functional almond-based beverages.
It was a huge success and he moved on to Fila Manila after the COVID-10 lockdown shuttered that original business. Now, he is looking for Shark Tank to either help invest in his business or at least spread the word about his food for the world to see.
