‘Pump Rules’ Kristen Doute Suffers Devastating Loss
Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute revealed that she has suffered a devastating loss. She was recently spotted at BravoCon along with Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. They are still a part of the Bravo family and with good reason. So, what is going on in her life? Read on for more details.
Pump Rules Kristen Doute Suffers Devastating Loss
A lot has been said about Kristen Doute lately. She claimed that Lisa Vanderpump’s daughter, Pandora Todd Sabo’s accent was not real. This was something that LVP addressed at BravoCon and had to have a chuckle at. Plus, there was a rumor that Doute was cast in the Pump Rules spinoff because she was being hushed. That was also false as she has been a part of the Pump family since the show’s inception. She was fired in 2020 after Season 8 along with Stassi Schroeder, Max Boyens, and Brett Cap. Doute did come back for the Season 10 finale to help Ariana Madix burn the past after being cheated on by Tom Sandoval.
Now, she will be returning for the spinoff plus she has a book she wrote a few years back and a podcast. Finally, she is in love and happier than ever. So much so that she has her mind focused on babies. Though her psychic said she would not get pregnant until 41(she’s 40), she still was trying. According to heavy., it worked and she and Luke Broderick were expecting their first child. Unfortunately, the happiness did not last as she shared on the podcast she does with her beau.
Kristen Doute found out she was pregnant at the end of October and they were both thrilled. Soon after, Doute traveled to see Luke in Colorado. They have been dating long distance since they met and that was when light bleeding started. She shared this: “When I bled a little bit, I was just thinking the worst things in the entire planet. The worst case scenarios.” She did go get blood work only to find she had slightly low progesterone.
The Ending
Despite getting more progesterone, a third ultrasound on the former Pump Rules star revealed the worst. It showed her pregnancy was not “viable.” Luke Broderick explained this: “It’s considered a blighted ovum. There was no embryo in the sac that’s forming.” As of now, Kristen Doute has not made any moves. Luke laid out her options:
“Nothing has happened yet. The first choice is a D and C [dilation and curettage], which is a surgical removal. Option two is the wait and see, just for it to happen naturally because your body will eventually reject it.”
Finally, per Doute, she can take medication to make a miscarriage occur. It is not the end for them as they will try to become parents and remain hopeful. Our hearts are heavy for them as they go through this but send love and light that they will get what they want.
