Kristen Doute Quit Smoking For This Reason, See Why

Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute revealed that she’s quitting smoking. She wants to “prepare” her body for a possible pregnancy. This comes after she made the pregnancy rumors swirl. Kristen attended an engagement party for one of her friends. In most of her Instagram posts, she kept her stomach covered.

The Instagram post from the engagement party had fans asking her if she’s pregnant. They thought the dress she was wearing made it look like she had a baby bump. Kristen has shared her thoughts about becoming a first-time mom someday. She admitted that she’s been getting to know her body just in case.

Kristen Doute quit smoking

Kristen Doute said she’s trying to quit smoking. The Pump Rules cast is known for its love of cigarettes. They often took smoking breaks in between their shifts at SUR. The Bravo star answered questions from fans on her Instagram Stories. She said she is ready to “prepare” her body for a potential future pregnancy. She also shared that she quit so she could extend her life.

The Bravo star wanted advice on quitting smoking. “If you’ve quit cigs, when did it start getting easier?” she shared with her fans. One Vanderpump Rules fan applauded her for kicking the habit. They wanted to know if this means Kristen Doute and her beau want to expand their family.

“Good for you. Are you prepping for a baby?” the fan asked.

“Yes,” Kristen Doute responded. “I [100 percent] want to prepare my body but also just to be healthy and prolong my life. I knew I would never ever smoke once I have a child. I’m also just over it.”

At the end of 2021, she moved in with her boyfriend after selling her $1.3 million home. According to Us Weekly at the time, an insider claimed that Kristen Doute wants to “get married and have kids soon.” An insider said that Alex wants “a wife.”

VPR alum shares her pregnancy concerns

Kristen Doute opened up about wanting to get pregnant on her Instagram Stories. Last month, she said she had her concerns about it. The former Bravo star is worried that she will have fertility issues.

“[I am] constantly nervous about the can I or can I not get pregnant?” Kristen Doute wrote in January 2021.

She noted that she has “anxiety… of the unknown” and “of what’s going on with her body.” This is why she’s been paying as much attention to it as much as she can. However, Kristen knows that she’s at the age where she can’t easily get pregnant.

“I’m 37 and hoping to get pregnant but not this minute,” Kristen Doute continued. “I’ve had really off cycles lately and it’s been making me really nervous because of my age.”
