‘Teen Mom’ David Eason’s Court Date & Details Revealed
Teen Mom alum David Eason’s upcoming court date and all of the details for it have finally been revealed. Though his wife, Jenelle Evans, disputed everything related to David and any charges or warrants, there is now official proof. So, when must he appear? Read on for more details.
Teen Mom David Eason’s Court Date & Details Revealed
When Jenelle Evans’ son, Jace, 14, ran away for the third time in less than two months, he shared what was going on at home. Allegedly, his stepfather, David Eason had assaulted him. Due to this, it became a CPS matter and he was not sent home. Additionally, Jace claimed that if he was sent back to Jenelle and David, he would just run away again. There was also apparent proof that David had hurt Jace so he was sent to live with his grandmother, Barbara. That has since changed as Jace proceeded to run away again and was taken from Barbara’s care.
As for David, he was charged with child abuse and there was a warrant out for his arrest. Though Jenelle has vehemently denied that there is any wrongdoing, a Reddit thread was started to share an update. According to the North Carolina Judicial Branch, David must appear on 11/29/2023. His “arraigned offenses” are listed as misdemeanor child abuse. So, what did fellow Redditors have to say about this court date actually happening? More so, do they think he will actually show up?
- Misdemeanor again. These guys get away with so much which is why they become increasingly dangerous to their families and the public. Imagine being in a movie theater with David.
- Seriously!? Like you only kinda hurt him. I’m sure mentally Jace is so hurt and confused
- how can child abuse be a misdemeanor charge? it should be way harsher on these sickos
Many were very confused by the term “misdemeanor” and how David Eason got such a low charge.
Make It Make Sense
One Redditor actually looked up the textbook definition of what David Eason was facing when he goes to court. This is what they ended up finding:
- Reading the legal definition I see “or allows to be created a substantial risk of physical injury, upon or to such child by other than accidental means is guilty of the Class A1 misdemeanor of child abuse.” So Jenelle is next?
That is a good question. It has yet to be seen what will happen to Jenelle. However, the former Teen Mom star apparently has strict guidelines she must abide by per CPS. Right now, it is unclear what will happen with Jace and where he will end up. Currently, he is hospitalized and hopefully, he does get the real help that he needs.
