‘Counting On’ Jill Duggar Shares She Is Not OK & How She Copes
Jill Duggar published her book, Counting The Cost under her maiden name, but everyone who watched the Counting On show on TLC knows that she refers to herself by her married name, Jill Dillard. As she detailed some sad things about her family, she doesn’t always feel okay. However, she shared something that helps her cope with it.
TLC’s Jill Duggar Dillard Betrayed Jim Bob Duggar?
Things that happened in the Duggar compound stayed in the Duggar compound. At least, that was until Jill married Derick. The Duggar daughter clashed with her dad over wearing pants and a nose ring. Actually, as her husband didn’t object, that should have been the end of it. However, they both claimed that her dad interfered in their marriage. In fact, he allegedly told his daughter that Derick must change the music he listens to.
Jill Duggar Dillard shared her dad’s reaction to her book that didn’t show him in a very good light. According to her, he threatened the rest of the family over talking negatively about him or his wife Michelle. Seemingly, he might even cut them out of any “inheritance.” Certainly, it seems that things went from bad to worse with Jim Bob Duggar who probably felt betrayed So how does she cope with that?

Counting On Alum Jill Duggar Dillard Is Not Okay But She Copes
Recently, the TLC alum shared a photo of herself with her son cooking in the kitchen. As she fondly remembered doing the same thing with Michelle as a kid, some people thought she contradicted herself. However, there were happy times as well as bad in her life. Furthermore, just because she criticized her upbringing, doesn’t mean that she hates her mom and dad. Still, it must be hard to cope with knowing that her father’s not okay with her.
On the weekend, Jill Dillard took to her Instagram and shared an extract from Counting The Cost. In her caption, the Counting On alum wrote:
…but I held tight to some of the most powerful advice that Mr. McIntosh had given Derick and me:
“Sometimes you have to be okay with other people not being okay with you.
And you have to be okay with you not being okay too.” – quote from our book, “Counting The Cost”
