Fans can’t wait to find out what MTV has planned for the newest Teen Mom drama coming to screens. MTV first released Teen Mom in 2009. Later, they continued by introducing another related series to MTV, the well-known, 16 & Pregnant. Additionally, MTV has many other shows in the franchise. These include Teen Mom 2Teen Mom 3, and Teen Mom: Family Reunion. It’s no surprise that fans are excited to see a new series on the horizon.

What Does MTV Invision For The Future?

According to The Ashley, MTV is working on a new spinoff. Most importantly, it seems this release is an effort to boost rating to save the franchise. Undeniably, Teen Mom was a big money maker in its prime for MTV. However, many of the subsequent shows have not done as well. In time, the network has aspirations of the new show reviving the once-popular series. While it seems the show is in the early stages of development, it could potentially be added as part of Teen Mom: Family Reunion. In this case, the style of filming would be different. Supposedly, this series will focus on following the couples as they build stronger romantically secure relationships.

Couples Growing Together

The working title currently includes “Couples Therapy.” The inside scoop says the series will have new producers. “Couples Therapy is different so, for the most part, it will not be the same people who work on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter production.” The couple will find ways to get closer and be more romantically engaged. While this news is exciting, there is also uncertainty.  The contact shared, “The cast is aware that production can pull the plug on this show – or their chances of being on it – at any time.”

Teen Mom Casting Call

Who will be the cast in Couples Therapy? Presently, the current cast hopes to continue their story in the new series. Teen Mom: The Next Chapter cast: Amber Portwood, Ashley Jones, Catelynn Baltierra, Cheyenne Floyd, Jade Cline, Maci McKinney, Leah Messer, and Briana DeJesus want to be considered. Unfortunately, the cast members have been fighting online recently. Basically, Ashley made humiliating statements about Jade’s fiance, Sean Austin.  Jade retaliated by posting a vague threat to her co-star online. While that tension still exists, the cast seems to be trying to behave to earn a spot on the next show. “Everyone was on their best behavior– a lot of them are hoping to grab spots on the new [show],” a source told The Ashley.
