Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine Baumgartner has finally moved out of their $145 million Santa Barbara complex. Her new place is a very petite home whose owner is a surprise.

Kevin Costner Finally Has $145 Million Santa Barbara Compound To Himself
Finally, Kevin Costner has his home to himself. Ever since Costner’s ex Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce, the Yellowstone star has waited for her to leave his $145M complex on the beach in the exclusive Carpinteria, California.
He had gone to court to have her move out per their prenuptial agreement. According to the prenup, she had to leave within 30 days of filing for divorce. That would have meant that she would have left by June 1. However, she dug her heels in and stayed put, while her lawyers challenged the prenup.
Moreover, he was unable to work on the post-production of his upcoming film Horizon. That is because he and his crew were living on the complex, but the animosity between Kevin and Christine was so disruptive, he and his production crew could not get anything accomplished.
According to The Daily Mail, Christine Costner moved from their marital home on Friday. This was just days after a cozy Hawaiian vacation where she hung out with one of Kevin’s friends. Where did she move to?
Christine Baumgartner Moved Into Ex-Husband’s Home Down The Street
Where did Kevin Costner’s ex-wife move to? It turns out, she moved into a house down the street. This is a very tiny home on a big plot of land. Moreover, the surprise is who owns this home. Turns out, Kevin is the owner.
Basically, Christine Costner and their three children moved from the palatial $145M Santa Barbara compound to a tiny home. Per the prenup, she was given $1.45M to pay for a new place.
While her new abode does boast a charming deck area, big windows on one side, and within close proximity to the beach, it is decidedly dainty. There are four large shipping containers on the property and one that is a bit smaller. There are also several trailers to boot.
It seems impossible that the contents of these containers will fit into this small home. Therefore, it may be possible that this is a temporary abode. Christine’s lawyers had previously declared that there were not affordable rental properties in the vicinity of the family home.
Therefore, this may be a temporary home until the judge decides on the permanent monthly child custody payments. Then, she may find a home large enough to hold the vast contents of the trailers and shipping containers.

Kevin Costner is In Aspen With Couple’s Three Children
Meanwhile, Kevin Costner is enjoying time with his youngest three children. Kevin was at his extensive Aspen, Colorado abode where he married Baumgartner back in 2004 in front of 300 people, including such celebrities as Tim Allen, and Bruce Willis.
He picked up his three youngest kids, Caden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13, from the airport a couple of days ago. They were photographed leaving a grocery store before heading home. This is the second vacation Costner is enjoying with his youngest kids.
Kevin and the kids vacationed in British Columbia earlier in July for a planned family vacation. Costner missed out on appearing in court for another divorce hearing because he was away with the children.

While the Canadian vacation was planned, it is possible that Kevin flew the children to Colorado as their mother was moving them out of the humongous family complex. However, the Field of Dreams star’s lawyers insist that the children are not homeless.
They are allowed to come and go between the two parent’s homes as they please. Now that they live just down the street, that should make it easier for the three teens to go between houses.
