Manson Family Killer Leslie Van Houten To Be Free Woman Soon?
At the age of 73, Leslie Louise Van Houten has been behind bars for decades after she was convicted for the brutal murders of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca back in 1969.
As those who have followed this story know, California Governor Gavin Newsom has reversed Leslie Van Houten’s parole three times since he’s been in office. Now, Leslie Van Houten was recognized as one of the younger members of Charles Manson’s family. At just 19 years old, Leslie claimed she was “brainwashed” by the cult leader when she stabbed Leno and Rosemary LaBianca to death.
Presently, the Manson Family member calls California Institution for Women in Corona, CA her home. TMZ states it is “unclear” as to when or even if she will officially be granted parole and released. But, Governor Gavin Newsom not appealing the parole did put her one step closer to being a free woman.
Charles Manson Made Headlines Recently
While Charles Manson has been dead since November 2017, his name did make headlines recently. As Tv Shows Ace previously reported, his partner in crime, Linda Kasabian, passed away at the age of 73 back in January of this year.
Linda Kasabian’s death certificate revealed that she had legally changed her last name to “Chiochios” to put distance between herself and the Manson family. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot of information made public regarding her cause of death. The original reports noted that she was in a hospital in Tacoma when she passed away and her body was cremated after her passing.
