Will there be a Bates Shiny Happy People for Season 2? Last week, Amazon released Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets on Prime Video. It’s been very popular so far, and now, the executive producer is discussing the possibility of a second season focusing on the Bringing Up Bates family. Keep reading for all of the details.

On Reddit this week, Cori Shepherd Stern, the executive producer of Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets answered questions from fans and critics. She addressed a number of topics, from deleted scenes to communications with the Duggars.
She also talked about a potential second season. According to Cori, she and her team are interested in a second season, but it’s up to Amazon. They certainly have plenty to cover in another season.
Could there be a Bates Shiny Happy People for Season 2?
Fans also wanted to know about the Bates family and whether they would appear in a potential second season. The Bates are friends of the Duggars and had their own shows including United Bates of America and Bringing Up Bates.
Because Gil Bates is on the IBLP board, fans felt that he should have been more heavily featured in the docuseries. The Bates family was barely included in the series.
Fortunately, Cori offered an explanation, possibly hinting at a Bates Shiny Happy People for Season 2.
She explained, “We wanted to go into the Bates!!!! It was just so hard to be able to get everything in. SEASON TWO!!”
At this point, a second season of Shiny Happy People has not yet been confirmed. After all, the first season has been out for less than a week. But based on what Cori shared with fans, it doesn’t seem impossible. The first season is already #1 in the United States on Amazon Prime Video, so it’s certainly getting enough attention to warrant a second season. For now, fans will have to wait and see what happens. NO!!!!! Leave the Bates Family alone DO NOT paint them like the Duggars because they are not like them at all they are more humble and honest people. Just because someone is of the same faith and religious group does not make them like others of the same group. It would be like saying all Catholics or Lutherans are the same they are not every individual has their own faith and how they believe in God. In the end all that matters is come judgement day you have to answer for yourself and no one else.
