How did the Bringing Up Bates family react?

At this point, the Bates family members have not said anything publicly about Jill’s new book. On Redditfans are discussing their lack of support for the Duggar daughter. Viewers noticed that several Bates family members took the time to congratulate Jedidiah Duggar on his new baby. Jedidiah and his wife, Katey, announced their daughter’s birth shortly after Jill shared about her book.

Despite being active on social media at the time, the Bates family failed to acknowledge Jill’s book. In addition, Jedidiah publicly shamed his sister, Jill, yet still got support from the Bates kids regarding his daughter’s birth.

The Bates family regularly shares bible verses and religious posts on social media, but they don’t really talk about the IBLP. As of now, Gil is still very involved in the organization, and fans assume some of his kids are still a part of the IBLP. Fans think they might avoid talking about it publicly due to some of the harmful practices being exposed. One Reddit user simply stated, “Because they don’t support Jill… they probably aren’t praying for her. They still believe and support IBLP.”

It’s possible that the Bringing Up Bates stars messaged Jill Dillard privately, but fans aren’t so hopeful. Some fear the Bates are siding with Jedidiah over Jill. Hopefully, Jill has some support during this time.

Why have Josie, Michaela, & Tiffany been able to congratulate Jed, the Jed who just got done shaming his sister Jill on her book release, & cannot similarly give a post like “praying for you” for Jill? They did for Jinger’s book. Why do they want to cozy up to Jed and those within IBLP?
