Both the Duggar and Bates families have 19 children and they are involved in the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). They have several similarities and have been friends for years. They even appeared on each other’s shows at times.
Despite having kids close in age and having known each other for years, there haven’t been any official Duggar-Bates courtships. Now, fans are wondering if James Duggar might be interested in one of the Bringing Up Bates stars.

On his Instagram Stories, James recently posted a photo of himself with his sisters Jennifer and Johannah at a restaurant. Surprisingly, Addallee Bates also appeared in the photo. James is 21 years old and Addallee is 17, so there is a little bit of an age gap between them. But it’s possible they are in a pre-courting relationship or just getting to know each other.
It looks like James, Jennifer, and Johannah might have been in Tennessee to attend Trace and Lydia Bates’ gender reveal. So, it would make sense if they met up with Addallee. She is close in age to the Duggar girls.

On Reddit, fans are discussing this new photo of Addallee, Jennifer, James, and Johannah. Some believe the two could be courting. Though there is an age gap between James and Addallee, fans recall the differences between some of the Bates daughters and their spouses. One fan pointed out, “Sadly…… I keep thinking Josie/Kelton and Alyssa/John who had similar age gaps and married really young.”
Someone else added, “IF this is a thing, it might have been arranged when they were both young and now she’s approaching 18, it’s time they do the whole courting performance so that they can get engaged/married as soon as she’s 18.”
Others wonder if James Duggar might have been responsible for going out with the girls in case any guys attempted to talk to them in public. Right now, it’s unclear what is really going on with James and Addallee. They could be nothing more than friends or a courtship could be brewing.

Yes I read this thinking it would be good to see them together.and it’s nice to read good news. why they are both good people and believe in God and Jesus Christ. However I thought is this really mine or anyone’s else business. no It is not. then I kept reading it and realized it is a gossip fluff. nothing backing it up with thruth! so here’s my thing who ever wrote this get a real job your leaching off of others loves.
