‘Unexpected’ What Is Ethan & Myrka’s Current Custody Situation?

Where do Unexpected alums Ethan Ybarra and Myrka Cantu stand in regard to custody of their daughter, Attalie? TV Shows Ace just showcased how happy Myrka is with her new little family. Yet, she still has Ethan to contend with. Is everything moving along just fine or does she have a battle lingering? Read on for more details.

Unexpected What Is Ethan & Myrka’s Current Custody Situation?

Myrka Cantu and Ethan Ybarra had an interesting time during Season 4 of Unexpected. His parents were very welcoming to Myrka when she was pregnant. Sadly, her own mother was not so happy about the situation so she needed to seek refuge elsewhere. Things were going swimmingly until Ethan’s parent’s separated and the young couple had to figure out life on their own. Now, they had their daughter, Attalie, so it was a bit trickier. Eventually, they split and things got very hostile and messy. Then, Ethan ended up getting another girl pregnant but it seemed like he could not even take care of Attalie.

Myrka Cantu moved on but what happened with her custody situation and Ethan? According to Starcasm, Myrka filed for custody a little over a year ago. Temproarily, it was granted with Ethan Ybarra getting suprervised visitation. Furthermore, his child support was $216/month and an additional $63 for Attalie’s medical expenses. Initially, Ethan could see Attalie supervised every other weekend but it evolved into more time together. Still, it had to be supervised so that part stayed the same. Finally, on April 17th of this year, the finalized decision was made in regard to custody of Attalie and how they would share her.

Myrka Cantu will keep sole custody with Ethan getting afternoon visition seemingly every other weekend. The Unexpected alum also gets to see his daughter for an hour on designated Wednesdays. As for financials, Ethan Ybarra’s child support will remain the same but his medical pay is going down from $63 to $50. However, he will be paying an additional $75/month as he owes his ex a total of $3,443.85. Fortunately for Ethan, this has been broken down to make the payments for easier for him.

Moving On

Myrka Cantu has mentally been through it since she left Unexpected but has finally found love. Additionally, she welcomed her second child, a little girl. Though she has deleted and reactived her Instagram several times, Myrka just posted a handful of photos of her, her boyfriend, and her two girls. However, she has chosen to keep the girls’ faces private which is perfectly fine. As for Ethan Ybarra, he is now on OnlyFans so he is still staying in the public sphere.
