It is no secret that Christine and Meri Brown did not get along while they were in a plural marriage. Though they may have had some fun times together, Christine had revealed that they had issues. Apparently, Meri would mock Christine in front of family members, something that was quite hurtful. When Christine made the decision in early 2021 to exit the family, she revealed that she only wanted to stay in touch with Kody’s second wife, Janelle. This hurt both Meri and his fourth wife, Robyn as they felt abandoned. Yet, Christine had her reasons that she explained on the Sister Wives Season 17 tell-all.

Though Meri Brown claims that she is living her best life with her close friend, Jenn, it seems that she is not truly happy. According to The Sun, she recently sent out a cryptic post on her Instagram. This is something that she is known to do quite often and it sometimes seems to be aimed at a family member. She posted: “It takes grace to remain kind in cruel situations.” So, does that mean that she is staying kind when she feels hurt by Christine? Is Christine’s happiness, being paraded on social media, an act of cruelty? That is what some have taken from the post.

So far, the only sister wife who has congratulated Christine in a public way is Janelle. She took her social media and even left a comment on Christine and David’s engagement announcement. Kody is not much for Instagram except to share that a marriage has ended. Additionally, his last remaining wife, Robyn does not post anymore. A source did share that Christine’s inner circle most likely knew about the engagement prior to the announcement. That would not include Meri.

What’s Next For Meri?

Though Meri Brown may not be happy in her romantic life, she does have a lot going on personally. She shared that she and Jenn are getting ready to get into some shenanigans over spring break. So, whatever happens with her other former sister wives really should not bother her as she has been traveling a lot. Even when she and Kody were still together, she was always off and busy with her businesses. Plus, her B&B is located in Parowan, Utah so she was frequently working there.
