At the age of 45, fans of Annie Wersching were far from ready to say goodbye to her. Per Deadline, her cause of death has been confirmed. On January 29th, 2023, the actress reportedly lost her battle with cancer. Her publicist and husband, Stephen Full, issued an official statement to Deadline regarding her death and the gaping hole losing her left behind within the hearts of her family.
There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.”

He continued as he doted on how loving Annie was: “As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…'”

The actress was diagnosed with cancer back in 2020. She did not allow her diagnosis to prevent her from continuing to act. Annie did not share what form of cancer she was battling as she kept her diagnosis private for a period of time.

Annie Wersching will also be remembered for her role as Renee Walker in 24. She appeared as the character of Renee for a total of 35 episodes. Other shows she starred in include Timeless, Runaways, Bosch, Dallas, and Extant. She also landed guest roles on Charmed, Fraiser, Angel, Boston Legal, Supernatural, CSI, NCIS, and Blue Bloods.
Annie Wersching also played the voice of the character Tess in the video game The Last Of Us, which was just recently made into a TV series.
