Andrew Shue’s son Nate reacted to the news of his stepmother, Amy Robach, and TJ Holmes’ exit from GMA3: What You Need to Know. The network suspended the duo in early December 2022, in light of the alleged affair. On Friday, January 27, ABC News announced they officially let go out of the pair.

Andrew shares sons Nate, Aidan, and Wyatt with his ex-wife Jennifer Hageney. He doesn’t share any children with Amy Robach. However, this has obviously taken a toll on their family. On Saturday, January 28, Nate took to his Instagram Stories to share a clip of late-night host Jimmy Fallon waving his hands.

It was seemingly pointed to the drama going on at GMA. This came just hours after ABC confirmed they were letting go of the couple. Amy and TJ co-hosted the third hour of the show. However, the details of their alleged affair and behind-the-scenes behavior were enough for the network to fire them.

“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News,” ABC said in its statement on Friday. “We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”

Rumors swirled for weeks about Amy Robach and TJ Holmes’ future on the talk show. ABC didn’t know what to do with them in light of the scandal. They first joined GMA3 in 2020 with co-host Dr. Jennifer Ashton.

In late November 2022, photos of the two looking cozy surfaced on social media. Neither Amy Robach nor TJ have addressed the photos or their alleged affair. They were still married to other people. TJ filed for divorce from his wife Marilee Fiebig, with whom he shares a 10-year-old daughter, Sabine.
