After a deliberate mediation session on Thursday, January 26, Amy Robach and TJ Holmes are officially out at GMA3: What You Need to Know and ABC News. Amy lost both positions on the morning show as well as ABC World News. A spokesperson for ABC News shared a statement with Entertainment Tonight.

“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”

Interestingly, the network didn’t make it sound like a firing. The statement reads as if it was a mutual decision. This comes after the network revealed this week that no decision has been made. At the time, they claimed the internal investigation was still ongoing and no replacements were made.

Then, there was an explosive report that Amy Robach allegedly kept liquor in her office. She also drank on the job. Sources close to the television personality argue that she always took her job seriously. News of TJ’s alleged string of affairs and behind-the-scenes behavior has also come out. The blossoming couple is sticking together during this time as they make their start in California.

DailyMail.com was the first to publish the exclusive photos of Amy Robach leaping into TJ’s arms. She wrapped her legs around him in Los Angeles. Photographers caught them on the sidewalk during their outing. The outlet published the photos on Friday, January 28, after they were let go by ABC over their alleged affair.

Amy seemed happy to see TJ. She ran into his arms and planted a kiss on him. They still aren’t shy about their romance. The two have been spending time in Southern California. It’s unclear whether they’re visiting or if they’re planning their new lives together on the west coast.
