‘GMA’: Ginger Zee Doesn’t Care About Her Job Anymore?

Some GMA fans say Ginger Zee doesn’t care about her job anymore. She’s been hit with more criticism than usual lately. The meteorologist celebrated a New Year back on the set of the morning show. However, it’s the same trollish behavior on social media.

GMA meteorologist continues to get trolled on Twitter

Ginger Zee loves to fight back at the trolls. Yet, it might not do her soul any good. This just allows more to come out of the woodwork. This past week, some have come for her saying that she gets more breaks and privileges than her Good Morning America co-anchors. For some reason, one troll assumed that Ginger reports the weather in her backyard.

Another suggested that she should get a new hairstyle. A third troll has piggybacked on that idea. They claim that she doesn’t take her profession seriously anymore. Some have a feeling that Ginger feels differently about herself since appearing on Dancing with the Stars.

It all started on Tuesday, January 3 when Ginger Zee clapped back at those who made cruel comments about her hair. Another troll decided to throw more digs at her. Some fans defended Ginger and argued that she looks beautiful the way she is. However, others have a feeling that she doesn’t put any work into her appearance.

“Remember when she did [Dancing with the Stars], she really thought she was hotstuff now look at her she must have gotten married [SIC],” the troll tweeted. “She doesn’t care anymore.”

Ginger Zee caught wind of this comment. Once again, she fought back at the new troll. She argued that their comments were misogynistic. Ginger is tired of hearing people criticize her about her appearance.

“Omg… I was married with a new baby when I did DWTS so your timeline is off,” Ginger responded. “Also, your misogyny is so thick I can see it over these mountains.”

Ginger Zee continues to receive criticism

Ginger Zee has been accosted by trolls for a long time now. She was criticized for sensationalizing the weather and what she wears to work. Last month, she made an on-air blooper on GMA when she talked about State College located in Pennsylvania. Ginger mistakenly mentioned College Station, which is located in Texas.

“Hi Ginger Zee, it’s State College PA. College Station is in Texas,” one user tweeted.

Ginger didn’t accept accountability for that mistake. She didn’t realize that she mentioned College Station. She only explained that if she made the on-air blunder it was because the producer was talking in her ear. It’s very common for meteorologists to make mistakes while reporting natural disasters.

“I know that as well as most of my colleagues when there, if I made a mistake, it was because I had someone talking in my ear quite a lot during that moment,” Ginger Zee responded.
