Fans remember when Barbara Walters shaded the Kardashian-Jenner family. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the famed journalist passed away at the age of 93 on Friday, December 30. She was a trailblazer for other women in the industry. Without Barbara, there wouldn’t be any other successful female reporters and journalists.

Barbara Walters interviews the Kardashians
Back in 2011, Barbara Walters had a sit-down interview with the Kardashians. She spoke with Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian about their ever-growing fame. During that interview, Barbara noted they achieved a lot of success with very little talent. The family looked at her and even nodded.
The clip from the 2011 special episode first went viral back in November 2020. For some reason, fans couldn’t get out of their minds the time when Barbara Walters talked about the “no talent” family. The episode featured a collage of scenes from Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“The Kardashians are everywhere,” Barbara Walters says. “Their empire endlessly self-replicating, with spinoff after spinoff. A strange mix of trashy s**, upscale excess, tabloid melodrama, and suburban family life.”

The family introduced themselves. Once Barbara got that out of the way, she informed them: “You are all often described as ‘famous for being famous.’ You don’t really act, you don’t sing, you don’t dance. You don’t have any forgive me – any talent.” Some of them nodded in response.
Khloe spoke up and says: “But we’re still entertaining people.” Kim noted that it can be a “challenge” to make “people fall in love with you.” She feels the “pressure” to “be famous for being ourselves.” Kris and her daughters weren’t offended by Barbara’s comments, while Khloe admits they’re not talented.
