Ginger Zee Reports From The ‘Eye’ Of The Storm
The most dangerous place to be during a hurricane is at the center of it. On Wednesday, Ginger was seen reporting right from the eye of the raging storm. The GMA newscaster wore a blue rain jacket and represented ABC News while she was drenched in water from the hurricane. As she fought off the strong gust of wind, she announced, “Hello and good afternoon, we are in the eyewall.”

The GMA co-host filmed from her hotel room balcony as the strong winds and rain pounded the coastline of Florida. As per The Sun, even the strongest palm trees fell flat to the ground. The beach & her hotel’s pool area all disappeared beneath the rising water levels as Ginger kept GMA fans updated on the storm’s status.
Fans Pray For Ginger Zee And Florida Residents’ Safety
While fans did appreciate the brave reporter’s efforts, they were also worried for her safety. They flocked to the comments to showcase their concern.

However, Ginger isn’t the only one fans are worried for. Rob Marciano is also reporting on the wrath of Hurricane Ian.
GMA Ginger Zee Struggles To Stay Grounded Amid Heavy Winds
Although a hotel might seem safer than being outside during a storm, Ginger has also reported live as the storm nearly blew her away. The weathercaster shared a snippet on Twitter as she was all drenched in the rain wearing a blue rain jacket. As the reporter struggled to stay grounded, the trees behind her looked like they would get uprooted at any time.

However, fans weren’t happy that the journalist was risking her life. One sounded off in the comments, “We do not need visuals of people getting rained on. You’re putting your employees live’s at risk. Tell them all to go inside.”
A second added, “Why do you have your reporters outside???”
“Never understood the logic of this. We know it’s windy and raining,” complained a third fan.
