Danielle Busby Justifies Frequent Getaways With Husband Adam
Danielle and Adam Busby often get crucified by OutDaughtered fans for their frequent getaways without their children in tow. With six children, many fans question how they can afford to go on so many couple-only retreats. Likewise, many fans question who watches their six girls when they leave them behind for frequent romantic getaways.
Deciding to take the bull by the horns on her most recent Instagram post, Danielle Busby anticipated the backlash and went into details regarding WHY she and her husband Adam need frequent getaways from both their children and their hectic lives.
Danielle Busby justifies ditching kids for romantic excursions
The OutDaughtered mother of six shared a selfie of herself and her husband Adam inside of an airport yesterday. At the very beginning of her caption, she labeled the photo “mommy & daddy date trip.” She proceeded to explain that one big thing becoming a family of eight taught her was how important it was for her and Adam Busby to continue to go on dates with each other.
Danielle Busby explained that she and her husband Adam live hectic and busy lives. Getting things done for their girls often means pulling the parents in separate directions. According to Danielle, doing what needs to be done for their girls, jobs, and household put an uncomfortable distance between herself and her husband. So, they go on frequent date nights and date trips to make up for the time they spend apart raising their girls.
Danielle Busby proceeded to address the elephant in the room. Many fans criticize the couple for leaving their girls behind to go on date nights and date trips. Danielle, however, clarified she believed it was good and healthy, even, for her children to see what marriage was supposed to look like.
Throughout her post, Danielle Busby doubled down on the fact that date nights and trips were something she needed to do with her husband Adam. She explained they went on date nights once a week. And, they try to plan date trips every few months (or weeks) as needed.
She concluded her post by telling her followers there was nothing wrong with making her marriage a priority. Then, she added that having a happy marriage allows her to have a happy family with happy children and a truly fulfilling life.
As TvShowsAce previously reported, Danielle’s Instagram post was largely about prioritizing her marriage above all else. Some fans, however, couldn’t help but assume she was also seizing an opportunity to get ahead of the trolls.
Her detailed post made it clear Danielle and Adam Busby were not blind to the criticism they receive for going on frequent trips and date nights. They, however, also made it clear they are unbothered by the backlash and negativity. What did you think of Danielle’s post? Let us know in the comments down below.
