‘The View:’ Annoyed Whoopi Goldberg Shuts Down Show Again?

Once again, Whoopi Goldberg tried to shut down the show. She was visibly annoyed when they mentioned the hot topic that’s been on everyone’s minds lately.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was caught allegedly cheating on his wife Behati Prinsloo with an Instagram model. The musician trended on Twitter on Monday, September 19.

A woman named Sumner Stroh shared screenshots of their alleged conversations in her TikTok video, which has gone viral. Adam broke his silence on Instagram and denied cheating on his wife, but claims that he “crossed a line.”

This conversation has everyone heated up. Even Whoopi Goldberg tried to shut down her co-hosts for talking about it.

Whoopi Goldberg blasts her co-hosts

On Wednesday’s broadcast of The View, Whoopi Goldberg didn’t want to discuss the ongoing drama surrounding Adam Levine. Since then, many more women have come forward to share screenshots of their alleged conversations with the singer. Whoopi tried to shut down the show when she had enough of the topic.

That’s understanding since it’s all that everyone’s been talking about for much of the week. The actress clearly didn’t want to talk about it on the show. Whoopi Goldberg brought up the news story on Wednesday’s live broadcast. She looked unhappy with the topic when she mentioned it.

She didn’t explain why she was unhappy. It was unclear whether she was annoyed with Adam Levine or the story itself. After sharing the details, she looked deadpanned into the camera. Then she asked her co-hosts: “Does an online relationship count as cheating, as far as you all are concerned?”

Whoopi Goldberg didn’t see what the fuss was about. Co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in and said, “Yeah.” She was unhappy with her response. Whoopi tried to shut the show down and said: “OK, next item!” Her hosts laughed and the audience clapped while Sunny explained the reason behind her answer.

Whoopi Goldberg shut her down once again. She didn’t understand why they had to discuss this story. The Color Purple star feels that this should be a conversation between Adam and his wife instead. She didn’t like airing the pop star’s dirty laundry.

Sunny explained that he “made a mistake.” Whoopi advised her co-host to “call him” about it than to talk about it on the show. This comes after she tried to end another conversation on Tuesday’s show. Things got heated when Sunny, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin discussed a politician who changed her name, which Sunny didn’t agree with.
