‘Alaskan Bush People’ Fans Want Matt Brown Back On The Show
Alaskan Bush People is coming back in October for Season 14, but one member of the Brown family will remain off the show. However, fans are still not happy about this. Many people want to see the family and estranged brother Matt Brown finally make up and come back together.
The problem is that this is unlikely to happen. Here is what you need to know.
Fans want Matt Brown back
When the Alaskan Bush People trailer hit for the new season, Matt Brown was nowhere to be seen in it. That should come as no surprise to anyone who follows the show since Matt has been gone since 2020. However, many fans believe that Matt deserves a second chance and they want him back, rejoining his family.
In the comments of the Season 14 trailer, fans quickly pointed out that Matt wasn’t in the footage. One asked, “Will Matt be a part of the show? I can’t wait to watch.” Another responded to them that they wished he could reconcile with his family, but Discovery likely wouldn’t take him back. Another responded that watching Matt’s Instagram videos shows he is the only one not living a “fictional life.”
Despite what the fans want, there is likely no chance that Matt Brown will ever appear on Alaskan Bush People on Discovery. It looks like he won’t even reconcile with his own family.
Matt Brown remains estranged from his family
Last season, Billy Brown died. When his death played out on the show, and the family mourned the loss of “da,” many fans wanted to see Matt back at that time. Surely he was at his own father’s funeral. However, in the footage of the mourning and loss of his dad, Alaskan Bush People never once showed that Matt was there. Matt did say he reconciled with his dad before his death, but his brothers have refused to even mention Matt’s name.
However, one person did mention Matt over the past few months and that was his new sister-in-law Raiven Brown. When someone asked about Matt, she said that people didn’t know anything about what was going on in their family’s lives and that they shouldn’t assume they know the story. Raiven clearly has bad feelings toward Matt.
As for Matt himself, he keeps fans updated constantly on his Instagram page and with YouTube videos. He is living on his own in Washington, working and continuing his sobriety journey. The videos are a way to keep him accountable for his sobriety. One of the problems with Matt and Alaskan Bush People was his drug use. However, he claimed production team members kept giving him more drugs.
There are also accusations that Matt sexually assaulted two different women in 2020. However, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office refused to prosecute. After his stint in rehab and the start of his sobriety journey, his family has still excommunicated him. From all accounts, he didn’t even attend Raiven and Bear’s wedding, so he likely has nothing to do with the new season of Alaskan Bush People in any way.

Matt is a good person still, he should be on the show, with the wolf pack. I hope he’s doing better and I also hope that discovery channel will let him on if he wanted to go back on.
Matt is better off not being a part of that dysfunctional show and family. Billy Brown is the biggest hypocrite there is. He goes on about it all being about family when in fact he would not allow Matt back. Billy was a control freak who brainwashed his cult family into doing his bidding. Bear Brown is Billy’s Mini Me.
