Hallmark’s ‘Perfect Harmony’ Stars James Denton, Sherri Saum
James Denton (Good Witch, Desperate Housewives) is back with a new movie. He is starring with Sherri Saum (The Fosters, Roswell, New Mexico), and his son, Sheppard Denton (For Love And Honor) in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Perfect Harmony.
According to Variety, Denton portrays Jack Chandeller, and Sherri Saum, Barrett Woodworth. Sheppard portrays Teddy, Peter Benson (Just One Kiss, Aurora Teagarden), and Julia Benson (Stargate Universe, Cruel Instruction) also star in this upcoming movie as Simon and Naomi.
Stefan Scaini (Moriah’s Lighthouse, Odd Squad) directed this movie, with a script by newcomer, Alicia Lomas-Gross.
What Is Hallmark’s Perfect Harmony About?
We know more about this upcoming new movie. Here is the synopsis.
Barrett is a buttoned-up college professor. Jack, on the other hand, is a laid-back, former pop star. They have been like oil and water since they met 10 years prior but, to support Naomi and Simon, they agree to set aside their differences.
At the engagement party, Barrett is horrified to learn Jack’s plan for party music was nothing more than a playlist. She guilts him into performing but he insists she joins him on stage, much to his son Teddy’s (Sheppard Denton) dismay as Barrett also happens to be his professor.
Jack and Barrett bring down the house with their duet and with that, the frost between them begins to thaw. As Jack and Barrett continue to spend time together leading up to the wedding, they surprisingly find themselves getting along. Slowly, they begin to change their perceptions of each other and find they may be more in tune than either of them would have imagined.
When Will Perfect Harmony Premiere?
Although the publication did not share when Hallmark Movies & Mysteries except to say “this fall.” As the network has already shared their Fall Into Love movies for September, it would mean that Perfect Harmony should premiere on one of the first three Sundays in October. That is because Countdown To Christmas and Miracles of Christmas premiere kick off the weekend of October 22.

A Double Hallmark Family Connection
Hallmark’s Perfect Harmony has a few family connections that make this HMM movie even more special.
First, this is the second time that James Denton and his son Sheppard Denton are starring in a Hallmark movie together. This is the first time since the 2016 movie, For Love and Honor.
Sheppard is a musician, but we don’t know if he will perform in this movie as well.
In addition, Peter Benson and his wife in real life, Julia Benson, are portraying a couple that are getting married in this upcoming movie.
The two have starred in many, many productions together including Aurora Teagarden.
