Hallmark is paying attention. They know that Goodies want to see their favorite show, Good Witch, return to the feel-good network.

After the TCA22, it looks like this has become more of a possibility. Could Hallmark decide to make Good Witch movies?

Hallmark Is Open To Reviving Good Witch Franchise

Hallmark knows that Goodies miss Good Witch. This was a long-running series that encompassed seven seasons and seven movies.

Therefore, when Hallmark Media CEO Wonya Lucas, and Executive Vice-President of Programming, Lisa Hamilton Daly spoke at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, they did talk about this franchise, as well as Signed, Sealed, Delivered.

Daly shared, “As far as Good Witch, I think we’re always interested in thinking about what we can do with our most popular IP.”

However, she did not commit to anything. “I can’t announce anything specific about that.”

Therefore, they confirmed that this series is not fully canceled. They are considering some options. As Good Witch started as individual movies, could they go in that direction?

Could Hallmark Make Good Witch Movies?

Is it possible that Hallmark could make Good Witch movies? This was the original speculation when they announced that the series would end.

After the series finale episode, the actors of the series shared one last tweet to thank Goodies. That includes a special video on Twitter.

The cast gave their thanks. However, Kylee Evans (Stephanie) said something very cryptic at the end of her statement. She said, “This isn’t ‘goodbye.’ It is ‘so long for now.'”

Along with a Deadline interview, this led to a discussion about possible movies in the series. They did not say which representative from Hallmark they spoke to, but that person did indicate that they considered the stars to be part of the “family.”

Catherine Bell, James Denton, and Katherine Barrell, among others, are members of the Hallmark Channel family, and we are in discussions on future projects.

While James Denton did star with his Desperate Housewives co-star, Teri Hatcher in A Kiss Before Christmas, Catherine Bell’s only project since the end of Good Witch was with Lifetime. It was the Ripped From The Headline’s movie, Jailbreak Lovers.

Goodies have to let the Hallmark Media team know that they want more of their favorite show.

Could Good Witch Movies Be Fall Solution?

Currently, Hallmark is airing their Fall Into Love movies. Despite the title, a lot of Hallmark fans are disappointed by the lack of PSLs, pumpkins, fall colors, hay rides, and apple orchards.

This season is cut short as they generally start Countdown To Christmas the third weekend of October, bypassing Halloween.

How great would it be if Hallmark starts to make an annual Good Witch Halloween movie? This could be the fun solution to pair up that often neglected season with the magic of this beloved series.

  1. @Hallmarkchannel definitely owes #Goodies after the way they treated #Goodwitch. It never should have been canceled in the first place. At the very least there should be a Halloween movie or even a Christmas movie! There are so many more stories to be told and fans would be over the moon to see Middleton full of life again!
