‘1000-Lb. Sisters’: Is The Family Safe From Kentucky Floods?
There’s a lot going on with the 1000-Lb. Sisters stars at the moment. Amy Halterman gave birth to a baby boy in July. Meanwhile, Tammy Slaton supposedly had bariatric surgery at the end of July.
But as floods ravage parts of Kentucky, fans are worried. Did Tammy, Amy, and the rest of their family manage to escape the flood? Fans are concerned and want answers.
The 1000-Lb. Sisters stars take pride in their state
The stars of 1000-Lb. Sisters are proud Kentuckians. Recently, the state received heavy storms and flooding. Many of people in the state lost their homes and their possessions. Now, fans are wondering how Tammy and Amy are doing. Did they manage to make it through the flood unscathed?
“I’m watching the news about the severe floods in Eastern Kentucky…” one Redditor wrote. “Some of it up to the roofs of people’s 🏘. Does anyone know if Amy and her little family w/Michael, plus her original family: Chris, and the other sisters and sisters in laws…I’m sure Tammy is safe in that rehab…they are usually built well.”
Although the floods caused significant damage, the entire state of Kentucky wasn’t affected. As many Redditors pointed out, the damage seemed to be contained to certain parts of Kentucky.
“Pretty sure they live in Dixon, KY and that’s on the west side of Kentucky,” someone else chimed in. “They should be fine. Only eastern Kentucky was affected. Our entire basement was flooded to the ceiling with mud and water. We lucked out a lot better than others around here who lost their entire homes.”
“I’m in Kentucky as well. Amy and her family are in another part,” another Redditor confirmed. “It was the Appalachian part of Kentucky that was affected, they live more north of the area.”
Fortunately, it seems as if Tammy and Amy are well and unaffected. Neither TLC star posted about losing anything in the flood, so they are likely fine.
What’s the deal with Season 4?
1000-Lb. Sisters fans are desperate for news about an upcoming season. Since Season 3 ended, fans started looking for clues and hints about the possibility of Season 4.
So far, there doesn’t seem to be any concrete evidence that TLC filmed Season 4. And the show’s stars are under contract, so they legally have to stay quiet. So what’s actually going on behind the scenes?
Tammy and Amy’s older brother Chris Combs revealed that the family was filming recently. However, he didn’t exactly say what they were filming. It’s possible the family was filming episodes for Season 4. But the sisters also have an active YouTube presence. It’s also possible they were working on another video for their channel.
Sadly, it doesn’t seem like 1000-Lb. Sisters fans will get answers anytime soon. Hopefully, TLC will give updates sometime in the near future.
Stay tuned for more updates on Tammy, Amy, and the rest of the family.
