‘1000-Lb. Sisters’: Amy Halterman Gives Birth To Baby #2
Pregnant Amy Halterman is pregnant no more as she’s just given birth to baby #2!
In January of 2022, 1000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Halterman announced she and her husband Michael were expecting baby #2. This news came as a complete shock to TLC fans as she was still within the window that her doctor told her to wait before trying to get pregnant. Not only did she not follow her doctor’s orders, but this was also baby #2!
Toward the end of January, Amy Halterman uploaded a video from her gender reveal party on YouTube. Sadly, the 1000-Lb. Sisters was NOT getting the baby girl she wanted. She was pregnant with baby #2 and he son Gage was getting a little brother.
As TvShowsAce previously reported, Amy Halterman revealed that her due date for baby #2 was July 18th. She, however, planned to have the baby via c-section. It had been reported that her c-section was scheduled to happen on the weekend of July 4, 2022.
According to an exclusive from People Magazine, Amy Halterman welcomed baby #2 into the world via c-section on July 5th.

On July 5th, Amy Halterman gave birth to baby #2 via c-section. According to the People Magazine exclusive, the baby was born weighing 5 lbs. 11 oz. and measuring 17.5 inches. The official baby announcement also revealed the name of baby #2 is Glenn Allen Halterman.
The wait is finally over … Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman. The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!”
Will she be having more children?
Now, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans know the TLC personality was a bit disappointed when she learned she was having another boy. So, fans wonder if she plans on having a third baby to try for a girl. Amy, however, made her plans very clear. Sadly, those plans do not include having a third baby. In fact, while having the c-section, she plans on getting
Amy Halterman’s doctor was NOT happy with this decision
As 1000-Lb. Sisters fans recall, Amy Halterman’s doctor did NOT like the idea of her having a second baby so soon. Her doctor attempted to shut the idea down noting that she needed to focus on losing more weight. Getting pregnant with Gage was not easy on her body so soon after weight loss surgery. And, many believed she used the pregnancy as an excuse to derail her weight loss progress and eat whatever she wanted.
Some fans, however, pointed out that Amy’s sole purpose for losing weight was to have children. So, it is possible she doesn’t care as much about continuing to lose weight now that she has her children.
