One fan took to the Jeopardy! subreddit to share their thoughts on the latest ratings. Once again, the show is trailing behind Family Feud, which airs in the same timeslot in certain parts of the country. The Steve Harvey-hosted game show beat out the Mayim Bialik-hosted episodes.

Per TV News Check, during the week of June 26, Family Feud rose from 2 percent to 5.0 in the Nielsen ratings. It’s currently leading in game shows and syndication. Jeopardy! dipped to 2 percent and landed in second place in 4.9. Wheel of Fortune followed behind, while You Bet Your Life dipped 13% to 0.7 and 25 Words of Less dropped to 14 percent with a 0.6.

This is startling news for avid game shows. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! used to command attention during the evening hours. With the ever-growing popularity of game shows, that’s not the case anymore. Fans realize they have more options than ever, especially with classic game show networks like Buzzr and The Game Show Network.

Jeopardy! fans think this is the reason why Mayim Bialik is unfit to be a host. They have a feeling that the overall viewers are not interested in watching her host the episodes. Fans have been waiting for Jennings’ return. He is said to make a comeback before the end of Season 38.
