Arie Luyendyk Teases Return To Reality TV After ‘Bachelor’
Former Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk teases his turn to reality TV. Keep reading for all the details.
Bachelor couple going strong after scandalous start
Before Clayton Echard, there was Arie Luyendyk. The former race car driver’s season of The Bachelor fulfilled the promise of the ‘most dramatic season ever.’ After getting engaged to Becca Kufrin, Luyendyk had a change of heart. So, he dumped Kufrin for one of his other contestants. And the whole ugly mess was caught on camera.
For years, theĀ Bachelor star came under fire for filming his breakup with Becca Kufrin. During the After the Final Rose special, he proposed to Lauren Burnham. Becca Kufrin is currently dating Bachelor Nation alum Thomas Jacobs after meeting on Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Luyendyk and Burnham married in 2019 and have three young children. After the birth of their third child, Arie Luyendyk had a vasectomy. However, his wife isn’t so sure they’re done having children.
Despite his controversial stint on reality TV, Lukendyk recently revealed he’s working on another show.
Arie Luyendyk teases return to reality TV
Having one of the most infamous endings in Bachelor Nation history hasn’t made Arie Luyendyk shy away from the spotlight. He took to his Instagram Stories to share a life update with his followers.
“Guys, I’m going to be on another show,” he wrote on a video explaining his new gig. He was scarce on the details, but did say he could be away from home for 3 weeks for filming of the mysterious show.
In another slide, he explained that an NDA prevents him from spilling too many details about his new show.
However, he did reveal that the secret project doesn’t involve his wife or kids. Luyendyk expressed regret over missing Mother’s Day with Lauren Burnham and their children.
While Luyendyk couldn’t say what type of show he’s on, some have ideas. Screen Rant speculated that the former Bachelor might appear on a show on an “HGTV type show.”
Fans will have to stay tuned to see where Arie Luyendyk ends up.
Another former Bachelor Nation star is competing on a CBS reality show. Colton Underwood is among the celebrity contestants competing on Beyond The Edge. Season 1 of the reality competition concludes on Wednesday, May 18.
