Former American Pickers host Frank Fritz is dealing with more struggles. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, his antique store is falling apart. He hasn’t been to his Idaho-based business for some time. Frank has been in hiding ever since his firing in July 2021.

Meanwhile, he’s dealing with financial troubles. He slipped into debt ever since his termination. Now, a new report shows the former television host dealing with even more issues. Even though Frank entered rehab and changed his lifestyle, he’s still having issues in other areas of his life.

Frank Fritz is struggling since his firing

The History Channel fired Frank Fritz from American Pickers. He was one of the most popular cast members on the show. The reality series made him a fan favorite. Frank has been part of the show since it premiered in 2010.

Unfortunately, he was fired from the show while he was recovering from grueling back surgery. It’s unclear why he was really fired from the show. Frank is reportedly struggling with more issues since his termination. He’s still having trouble paying back taxes on his Iowa farmhouse.

He just missed another tax deadline in March 2022. The American Pickers alum missed his first deadline in September 2021, according to a new report. In addition, he reportedly owes property back taxes that amount to $5,038. He also owes $3,402 for a property he purchased in 2010 for $130,000.

Also, he owes $1,636 for another property he purchased in 2013. According to this latest report, Frank is still behind on his property taxes. This comes after his firing from the History Channel series.

However, this isn’t the only issue that he’s dealt with in recent months. The American Pickers star has been dealing with other issues. He left his antique store neglected since he hasn’t been there for some time. The store also got bad ratings from customers on Yelp and Google Business.

American Pickers star has financial problems

His firing from American Pickers has caused him immense financial problems. Some claim that Frank was the one who left the show after his back surgery. He claimed that he was recovering during the time. Frank also talked about his feud with his co-star Mike Wolfe.

American Pickers fans assumed Frank would return to the show. It looks like his firing was a creative decision as the show moved on without him. The History Channel did not include pictures of Frank in the promo photos for Season 23. American Pickers cast members shared their theories on his firing.

Danielle Colby said that fans don’t have the full story when it came to what happened. She said that Frank “caused so much pain for himself” when it came to his behavior on the show for “years.” Mike also revealed that Frank was fired after he took a break on his own accord. The show replaced him with Mike’s younger brother Robbie.

In July 2021, Frank first spoke out about his financial problem. He admitted that a failed relationship cost him “six figures.” Their relationship ended due to his alleged cheating. In the meantime, Frank has been pitching an idea for his own television show.
