Little People Big World star Matt Roloff misses Amy Roloff
Matt, 59, and Amy, 56, divorced in 2016 and are now dating other people. Matt is involved with Caryn Chandler, while Amy plans to marry Chris Marek later this year. The fact that they are no longer together, and are with other people, doesn’t mean they have forgotten about each other. In fact, in the latest episode of Little People Big World, Amy returns to Roloff Farms for the new pumpkin season. Matt gives her a tour of the farm to reveal all the changes he has made.
Amy was nervous at first, but once she saw how the farm is doing, she relaxed. In a confessional, she said, “I definitely said I would be participating in pumpkin season this year.” However, she added that now she is officially not an owner, it definitely feels a lot different.
Matt admits he missed Amy
As Amy walks up to Matt, he tells her they are about a month behind in their plans. Matt explains to the camera that he invited Amy to come and look at pumpkin season and where she would want to be positioned.
Last year, with the death of her mother, Amy didn’t participate in pumpkin season. Matt explained that they missed her and wanted her there, but they understood. He said this year, she jumped right back into her role, greeting people and being kind of the “face of the family.”
Amy told the cameras that it didn’t feel as different or as weird as she would have thought while driving around the farm. She said she has a different perspective on the place. Amy admits it isn’t hers anymore and what she is doing is purely business. She added, “I’m pretty much a guest here.”
Fans will remember that Amy and Matt shared ownership of the farm during their almost 30-year marriage. In this season premiere, Matt offered to buy Amy’s share of the farm, when she moved off with Chris. Later, Amy and Matt’s son, Zach considered buying his mother’s share. He said they have tabled the discussion for now, due to the fact their long-term farm employee decided to rent the house for a few months.
Amy and Chris plan their wedding
As noted by Pop Culture, Amy and Chris are currently planning their wedding. The couple has been engaged since 2019 and had planned to wed last year but had to postpone due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, Amy has revealed they will marry in late August or early September.
