‘The Bachelor’ Starlet Found Dead On Spanish Holiday Island
News has come out that a star made famous after becoming part of The Bachelor franchise has been found dead in Spain. Reportedly, the star had been found in a pool, with police having little to identify them with. They were also reportedly 32 at the time of their death.
The Star Was Initially Unidentified, With Police Originally Only Have A Few Tattoos To Help Them
The Bachelor is a dating series that debuted in 2002 on ABC. It follows a single bachelor who must choose a fiancée from a list of contestants.
Over the years, the series has seen several spin-offs and international versions. Many figures from around the world have been stars through appearing in the franchise.
Recently, news has come out that one star from the franchise was found dead within a natural pool on Gran Canaria Island. The star was identified as Annabella Lovas, who appeared on the Hungarian version of the series. She was 32 at the time of her death.
Reportedly, Lovas was found naked from the waist down. Local authorities believe she had been there for at least three weeks when she was found on March 6 last year.
Police were originally unable to identify Lovas. However, they managed to log tattoos on her shoulder and back. They were also unable to determine the exact cause of death or obtain conclusive DNA.

However, an earlier police report from Lovas’ family helped them piece the stories together. They eventually sent a tooth to Interpol, which positively matched the Bachelor star’s dental records.
While police still do not know how Lovas died, they have ruled out the possibility of a violent death. They have also shared that they are not treating the situation as a crime.

Lovas initially found success on Hungary’s version of The Bachelor in 2021. She reportedly moved to Gran Canaria from her homeland after a cancer battle, which reportedly caused her psychological after-effects. She was the subject of an earlier missing person’s appeal in late 2024.
According to The U.S. Sun, police chief Pablo Fernandez Sala also discussed how difficult it was to identify Lovas. Citing the island’s daily publication, La Provincia, he was quoted as saying, “Colleagues tried to reach the natural pool to reconstruct her last steps and carry out a visible inspection on the ground, but it was impossible.”
