Long before she was a talk show host, Joy Behar made a name for herself in comedy. She regularly shows off her quick wit on The View, keeping the audience laughing. But her comments a few months ago about an actor’s steamy photo shocked even her co-hosts.
In a June 2025 “Hot Topic” discussion, the hosts discussed the reports that skimpy bathing suits for men were in style. The trend started after actor Walton Goggins graced the magazine in a skimpy bathing suit. The actor has played many roles over the years, but gained newfound attention after appearing on White Lotus.
The magazine cover was put on the screen behind the hosts. Sara Haines complained that they “can’t even see anything.” Joy Behar quipped that they couldn’t show the whole photo because “It reveals too much of his Walton and both of his Goggins,” giving the actor’s testicles a dirty pet name.
The View Guest Reacts To Host Nicknaming His Private Parts
Walton Goggins was a guest on The View this week to promote his hit Amazon Prime series Fallout. But Joy Behar didn’t want to talk about that. Instead, she brought up her previous comments about his private parts. “Walton, it is your first time here live in person, but it’s not the first time your name has come up in Hot Topics,” she told him before playing a clip of the June episode.

The actor revealed that he didn’t see the episode but somebody sent it to him. He thought it was hilarious. So did his wife. “My wife calls them Goggins, too,” he revealed. The Sons of Anarchy star has been married to film director Nadia Conners since 2011. His first wife, Leanne Kaun, passed away in 2004.
Walton Goggins and his second wife have one child. She directed him and Pedro Pascal in the 2024 comedy The Uninvited.
Joy Behar previously made a lewd joke about actress Jamie Lee Curtis. During a discussion around the holidays, the actress told the hosts that she learned to “spatchcock” a turkey for Thanksgiving. The method involves removing the turkey’s backbones and flattening it before cooking.
“She spatchcocks her husband,” Joy Behar joked, causing Jamie Lee Curtis to blush with embarrassment, according to Decider.
Before Walton Goggins left The View, Joy Behar made one last joke. “Don’t be a stranger. Come any time,” she said. “Bring your Goggins with you!”
