The View Fan Calls Out ‘Political Hate’ From Panel
Like most talk shows, The View gets a majority of its content for the Hot Topics segment from the country’s current political climate. While the hosts come from different political ideologies, none of them are vocal supporters of President Trump or his administration’s policies. Alyssa Farah Griffin worked for his first term in Washington, D.C., but has since spoken out against him.
It seems a day doesn’t go by that the hosts don’t make headlines for slamming something the President has said or done. One fan is sick of the constant “lies” some of the hosts spew. They took to social media to rant about the “political hate” from The View hosts.
“I do record The View and try to watch it. However, when Joy (especially her) spews her political hate that is NOT true, I fact check it and Joy lies. Whoppie [sic] is not much better,” the angry viewer wrote.
They added, “The “Queen Lawyer” continues to spout about corruption, but never mentions her husband’s indictment. I do that Sara researches her material and speaks intelligently.”
Sunny Hostin’s husband, Dr. Emmanuel Hostin, was named in a civil insurance fraud lawsuit in 2024. The lawsuit accused the orthopedic surgeon and other medical practitioners of submitting fraudulent bills and receiving kickbacks. According to multiple reports, Sunny Hostin’s husband settled in 2025 and was dropped from the lawsuit. He didn’t face criminal charges.
Joy Behar Triggers Violent Reaction From 85-Year-Old Lady
Another talk show viewer shared their disillusionment with talk show hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey. “I used to love Whoopi and Oprah but not so much anymore over ungodly things said,” they wrote on social media. But their most violent comments were aimed at The View host Joy Behar.
The viewer wrote, “BUT with that being said, I would give $10000 to be able to slap Joy??? Behar (no not slap) punch her in her face and give her a nose bleed! ”
Their rant shockingly continued “she needs a good a** whooping from this 85 year old lady!!!!!! She should not be on tv!!!”
Joy Behar turned 83 in October. She’s been on The View since the show started in 1997. The comedian did take a break around 2013 amid a contract dispute with ABC. A lot of fans prefer Joy Behar as moderator over Whoopi Goldberg. However, Joy’s political beliefs clearly set one viewer off.
