John Stamos Honors Late Full House Co-Star
John Stamos was part of ABC’s TGIF lineup in the late 1980s. He was among the cast of the sitcom Full House, which ran on the network from 1987 until 1995. Some of the cast reunited for a Netflix reboot, which ran for five seasons before the streamer canceled it in 2020.
Full House fans were shocked in 2022 when Bob Saget died suddenly after a fall in a hotel in Orlando, Florida. John Stamos was among the cast to pay tribute to their co-star on the fourth anniversary of his passing in January.
“Missing Bob feels like standing in a quiet room after the laughter stops. Your ears still ring with what was there, but the sound is gone,” John Stamos wrote in a social media post that included personal photos with his late co-star.
He Undergoes Shocking Transformation
John Stamos’s bond with his former co-stars continues to this day. He supported Dave Coulier during his first cancer battle. The Full House alum revealed recently that another cancer was discovered.

Before he was on Full House, John Stamos briefly played bad boy Blackie Parrish on the ABC soap General Hospital. The actor, who turned 62 in August, didn’t share the reason for the drastic new look. It could be for an upcoming role or just for a change. It was recently announced that he was cast on Season 2 of Netflix’s unexpected hit, The Hunting Wives. The new season is reportedly filming now.
