Full House star John Stamos has mesmerized fans for decades. But his stunning good looks didn’t protect him from recent hate on the internet. The actor faced rare criticism after fans saw inside his “hideous” former home. Stay on this page to see the shocking photos.

John Stamos Ends Feud With Romantic Rival

Years before he met his current wife, Caitlin McHugh, John Stamos was married to supermodel Rebecca Romijn. The former couple divorced in 2005. In his 2023 memoir, the Full House star opened up about their marriage. He said that he felt “emasculated” by his ex-wife’s success.

The memoir didn’t go over well with Stand By Me actor Jerry O’Connell, who married the supermodel in 2007. He publicly called out her ex-husband. But the two have since buried the hatchet. Jerry O’Connell shared a photo with his former nemesis and his wife on social media, joking that if they can make up, so can Russian President Putin and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

While John Stamos and his romantic rival are on good terms now, fans were aghast at the unsightly Calabasas, California, mansion he used to call home. The actor built the home in 1992 and sold it in 2001. It went on the market again in 2025.

The home went viral for all the wrong reasons after photos of the 7,547-square-foot home were put on Zillow. The huge mansion is nestled in the hills of California. The home’s stunning white exterior gives little indication of the inside.

The huge mansion boasts seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The home features soaring ceilings with crystal chandeliers. It has office space, a pool, a gym, and a stunning bar area, just to name a few of the extras in the mansion.

But fans couldn’t get over the luxurious mansion’s “hideous” interior. After entering the home, the eyes are met with a marble entrance-way leading to a quirky marble surrounded by fancy white chairs.

Going deeper into the home, viewers find more and more marble, including a marble bathroom. One social media user joked, “Someone’s uncle in the marble business?”

The interior of the home was roasted on social media.

  • “It took so much money to make it look that bad”
  • “People with more money than taste!”
  • “Cold and Uninviting. Doesn’t make you want to stay there”
  • “Ugly & tasteless”
  • “All I can think about is how long it’d be before someone slipped and cracked their skull open on those marble floors.”
  • “All this, and it seems so joyless. No one has any fun in this home, there’s no space you’d want to linger.”
  • “Nothing looks comfortable.”
  • “The entire house’s floors and walls look like a flock of birds flew around and pooped.”

The home’s current list price on Zillow is $7,500,000, down from the initial $12,999,000 in February 2025. That’s a huge decrease, hinting that the home isn’t gaining much interest from buyers.
