Justin and Steven Assanti first gained notoriety in My 600-lb Life scenes. The episode featuring the brothers first aired in 2018, and as viewers remember, there was a lot of controversy surrounding Steven and how he went toe-to-toe with Dr. Now on more than one occasion.

Naturally, with Steven Assanti being considerably louder and more combative than his brother, My 600-lb Life fans continue to follow him, as well as Justin, on social media. There were even rumors making the rounds that Steven Assanti had passed away, which his brother, Justin, eventually debunked.

Assanti Brother Wins Important Adoption Case

All these years later, with My 600-lb Life fans still keeping up with Steven Assanti and Justin Assanti, one of the brothers recently took to social media to share an important win in an adoption case. It turns out, Justin had plenty to share with his followers online, and he did not mince words.

Justin Assanti told his My 600-lb Life followers, “Our Daughter has started to settle into her new home, she is very attached to her mommy. We will make sure she has a great home and a great life. Our battle was long and hard but justice won in the end.”

Justin continued, saying, “People have tried to slander and defame my wife, myself and my family based on what they seen on a scripted reality tv show. my wife’s family (not the one that was trying to keep her daughter) has met and accepted me as family and we plan on spending some holidays together in Michigan.”
Assanti concluded his update, saying, “If i do any public social media like livestreams ect i will not answer any questions or comments regarding this matter, it’s closed. Have a Great Day and always be kind.”
