Oklahoma Grandmother Of 11-Year-Old Who Gave Birth Arrested, Details
A story recently broke out over a man being accused of fathering a child with his 11-year-old stepdaughter. Since then, both he and the child’s mother have been facing multiple charges. In another update to the story, the child’s grandmother has also been arrested in connection with the case.
An Oklahoma Couple Faces Charges After An 11-Year-Old Child Gave Birth To A Full-Term Baby
Dustin and Cherie Walker recently faced criminal charges after Cherie’s 11-year-old daughter gave birth. Reports claimed that Dustin was the child’s stepfather.
At the time, it was shared that the girl gave birth on August 16, 2025, to a full-term baby. At the time, she was rushed to a hospital by an ambulance. Emergency medical services personnel helped to cut the umbilical cord.

As previously reported, DNA testing later proved that Dustin was a 99.9% match for the baby’s father. Since then, he has been charged with sexual abuse of a child under 12. Cherie has also been charged with enabling child sexual abuse.
The couple is also believed to be facing other criminal neglect charges concerning other children in the household. According to legal filings, the children were found to be living in a home filled with dog feces and lacking clothes.
Following this, another figure was arrested over the case. This was Michelle Justus, who was initially reported as a neighbor, but was later identified as the stepdaughter’s grandmother. Justus is Cherie’s mother and Dustin’s mother-in-law.
The Child’s Grandmother Previously Denied The Claims Concerning Her Son-In-Law
Prior to her arrest, Justus spoke with 2 News Oklahoma. At the time, she spoke out in defense of the couple. She shared, “I just want people to know, we did not know this was happening. None of us. They’ve made my daughter and my son-in-law a monster. They are not, they love those children, they love them.”
At the time, Justus also denied that the children were being neglected. She noted, “We have animals, and so sometimes there’s trash on the floor because the dogs get into the trash. It gets cleaned up. Right now, it’s probably a mess because the animals are in there. We try to let them out, but they try to keep it clean.”

Justus also denied Dustin being the father of her granddaughter’s child. She shared she was told, “It was a little 12-year-old that I used to babysit,” adding, “That’s all I know.”
However, after DNA testing named Dustin as the child’s father, Michelle herself was later arrested. As shared by KTUL, Janet Hutson, Muskogee Assistant District Attorney, also shared, “We are alleging that she, too, was a caretaker of the children and failed to correct certain conditions or report the fact that the child is pregnant.”
Meanwhile, the Walkers are currently being held on $100,000 bond. Justus is also being held in custody on $75,000 bond. The children have also since been removed from the home. A preliminary court date was also set for the couple on November 24.
