A Mother Of Two In Georgia Got A Surprise Of A Lifetime After She Brought Her Car To A Shop
Annette Morales of Camden County is a single mother of two. After purchasing a second-hand car to help get around, she soon learned the vehicle was causing trouble.
Morales then took the car to Royalty Auto Service. At the time, the shop’s owner, Sherwood Cooke, said something about Annette spoke to him.

Cooke then spoke with local news outlet News4Jax, noting, “We see a lot of people in need, but something about Annette just struck me. I told my son, ‘We’re going to do something for her.”
Cooke then created a GoFundMe page on Morales’ behalf. He shared that she was “living paycheck to paycheck.” He continued, “She needs a buffer. She needs to be able to pay her bills and get caught up. This woman hasn’t asked for ANYTHING! She is extremely humble and we want to help her out.”
According to a recent update, on August 22, the shop announced that they reached their target number. However, the goal was increased in the hopes of helping her even more.
A TikTok Video Shared The Emotional Moment When Morales Saw How Much Money Was Raised For Her
Cooke shared, “We’ve raised it to see if we can do life-changing stuff for this family. We are overwhelmed by the support and want to see if we can get her enough money to put a down payment on a house and get her out of the apartment that she struggles to pay rent on. We want to see if we can get her emergency savings. Y’all are literally changing this family’s life!!”
The moment when the shop revealed the fundraiser to Morales was shared on TikTok. During the scene, Morales could be seen crying and embracing Cooke after seeing the money that was raised on her behalf. According to the GoFundMe page, over $167,000 was raised for her.
