‘LIVE With Kelly & Mark’ Ratings Shocker With Kelly Ripa Gone
Kelly Ripa has been away from her usual post at Live. With that being the case, some fans of the show may suspect that the show would tank without her. However, the ratings have recently been revealed amid Ripa’s absence. So, what are the numbers like?
Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Make An Unbeatable Team
It goes without saying that Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos bring something unique to the talk show space. When producers are figuring out casting, one of the biggest intangibles is on-air chemistry. This is something that cannot be taught, and it’s something that is either there or it isn’t.
However, when it comes to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, because they have been married as long as they have, their chemistry as a married pair is organic, and it’s something that comes through during the broadcasts as well. Taking this into account, it’s no surprise that their viewers love them and what they bring.

Ripa Has Been Absent From Popular Talk Show
Because Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are such a dynamic duo on and off-camera, viewers tend to notice when one of them goes missing. In Kelly Ripa’s case, she has been absent from her usual post. Flight cancellations caused Mark to miss some time, and Ripa has been absent for an entire week. It has been alleged that she would return on Monday, August 11.
As Live fans know, the couple has a lot of other activities outside of filming their popular show, and the pair regularly vacations together as well to blow off steam. Still, viewers don’t tend to like it when one or both of them are missing, regardless of which other famous person they get to fill in.

Live Ratings Shocker Revealed
Even with Kelly Ripa missing time, that has not slowed the show down when it comes to the ratings. In fact, Live continues to smash numbers in the ratings, and the results are quite impressive.
TV Insider notes, “During the week of July 21, the talk show rose over the previous week across all measures, including total viewers, households, women 18 to 49, and women 25 to 49. This marked the show’s best performance among Total Viewers in 13 weeks – since the week of April 21, 2025.”
Kelly and Mark also rose in other metrics like total viewers, up from 2.086M to 2.234M. There were also increases across the board for female viewers in the 18-49 bracket, as well as the 25-54 demographic. The show also earned its best rating among households between May 19 and June 16.

If that were not enough, Live is also ranked as the top talk show in syndication, going on 130 weeks straight. So, even with absences and other delays, the show is clearly not slowing down, and viewers love it.
