‘Live’ Kelly Ripa’s Shocking Confession ‘Mark Has Another Wife’
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have a famous relationship together, whether it’s their professional working relationship or their famous real-life romance. However, Ripa recently caught many fans off guard when she talked about her husband’s “other wife.” This also comes out as the couple has a project to share with viewers.
Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Have Shared Their Love Story With The World Since Their Marriage in 1996
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos first met while working on All My Children together. Famously, while playing love interests on the soap, the two also married in real life in 1996.
Since then, viewers have seen the couple in a variety of projects together. This includes sharing co-hosting duties on their talk show, Live! With Kelly and Mark.
The couple also serves as the focus of the ESPN docuseries, Running With the Wolves, which premiered on July 29. The series follows the couple as they deal the co-owning the Italian Campobasso Wolves soccer team.
In a recently released clip for the series, Consuelos and Ripa could be seen on a video call with their daughter, Lola. Mark then gets a call from another Wolves co-owner, Matt Rizzetta.
At the time, Mark said, “Oh shoot, this is Matt. I’ve got to go talk to Matt. I’ll be right back.” This caused Ripa to tease, “Dad has to talk to his other wife.”
Mark Consuelos Also Recently Talked About Purchasing The Wolves
Ripa expanded on these comments during a confessional. Sharing that she “thought our investment would be a silent-partner investment,” she admitted she “did not realize that Mark’s real work wife is Matt.”
Kelly then asked her husband, “And I am now the… what would you call me?” With a smile, Mark teased, “We’re a throuple!” Ripa took this in good humor, throwing her head back with a laugh.
For his part, Consuelos also recently spoke with ESPN about purchasing the team. Noting that it’s been a lot of work, he shared, “This has been an incredible experience, but also a lot of pressure. Kelly will tell you how all-in I’ve been, from 3 a.m. calls with coaches to picking players and even meeting with fans face-to-face.”
“It’s given me a whole new appreciation for what it takes to run and grow a club. I played football growing up and in college, but this ownership role has completely changed my perspective. Alongside our partner Matt Rizzetta, we feel a real responsibility to this region and its fans to keep pushing the team forward.”
