Kathy Griffin Compared To ‘Death’ In Shocking Pic
Actress and comedian Kathy Griffin recently gave fans a shock during a recent stroll. Many fans took to social media to share their reactions to the star’s appearance. However, many are sharing specific reasons why they believe she looks so changed.
Kathy Griffin Was Seen Wearing Merchandise From A 2018 Tour
Griffin is primarily known as a stand-up comedian. She started her career in the 1990s, as well as being a member of The Groundlings.
Reality television fans may know Griffin from her series, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, a spin-off of sorts from her Bravo special, The D-List. This series aired on Bravo from 2005 to 2010, for six seasons. The series also helped her earn two Emmy Awards.
Recently, Griffin surprised fans during a recent stroll near her home in Los Angeles this Tuesday. Her famous red hair was blown back by the wind, undoing her bangs.
Griffin didn’t appear to be wearing makeup. She was also wearing merchandise from her 2018 Laugh Your Head Off World Tour, including a white T-shirt with black pants.
As noted by Hello! Magazine, this is not the first time Griffin made headlines with her hair. Back in 2017, she shaved her head to show solidarity with her sister Joyce, who was undergoing chemotherapy at the time.
The star has also shared her health journey in recent years. Back in April, the star shared that she underwent a hysterectomy as a preventative move against cancer. In 2021, she was diagnosed with lung cancer and shared she had part of her lung removed.
Griffin Has Shared Her Healthy Journey With Fans In Recent Years
Griffin also discussed the lung removal during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. At the time, she shared, “I had surgery, you’re not going to believe this — so, I’ve never smoked but I got lung cancer. In August, I had half of my left lung removed, I’m not even kidding.”
The star also shared that an intubation tube even changed her voice, at least for a time. She shared, “So now I’m like Minnie Mouse meets Marilyn Monroe. It will heal, but I’m sort of enjoying it. I’m a good two octaves higher, I think. It’s higher than Mariah Carey, I know that.”

On social media, fans shared their concerns over seeing Griffin’s changed appearance during her recent stroll. A few came to her defense, sharing her previous health battles. Others took the opportunity to roast the comedian, with a few even comparing her to fellow comedian Carrot Top. Some comments included:
