Harvey Gets Burned By An 8-Year-Old, What Happened?

In a clip making the rounds online, Steve Harvey got burned by an 8-year-old barber from Tennessee. At just eight, he had been cutting hair for half of his life, and he told the audience that his dad taught him to cut hair. He went on to add that his dad is big Scooby, so, that’s why he is Scooby Cutz Jr., which the audience got a kick out of.

Harvey even brought out one of his producers to get a haircut, to put this kid’s barber skills to the test. When Steve asked if he had ever messed up someone’s hair before, the confident young barber clapped back with, “Now do I look like I messed somebody’s hair before?”

With that, Steve Harvey tossed his cue card, calling Scooby a “small pimp.” The audience loved the back-and-forth between Steve and this charismatic young barber, and, even the comments on the clip are full of enthusiasm as well.

  • One commenter said, “Cutting hair? WHAT HAIR? Every single person on that stage is bald af!”
  • A second commenter said, “Cutz Jr’s confidence in doing his barber job is amazing.”
  • Another commenter added, “He’s very talented. He wasn’t being disrespectful. Now had he said some choice words and/or had a louder, more aggressive tone, then y’all have a point.”
  • Another commenter chimed in, adding, “Seems like a very confident kid with a lot of charisma, could probably star in a family TV show. Very skilled , Great Job Young Man.”
