Bachelor Nation Favorite Joining ‘Real Housewives’ Franchise?

Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise is expanding. The network made the unexpected announcement in May that Rhode Island is the newest location for a reality TV show. Two of the other cities in the franchise have been put on an indefinite pause.
The new Real Housewives show is expected to air later this year or early next year. A cast has been chosen, but the network hasn’t officially revealed it. But one insider teased that two franchises may collide when a Bachelor Nation star joins RHORI. Keep reading for all the details.
Bachelor Nation Favorite Joining Real Housewives Franchise?
The Real Housewives franchise was initially made up of non-famous wealthy women in select cities. The Real Housewives of Orange County was the first city, followed by New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, and many more. However, in recent years, the show has cast famous women, including actresses Lisa Rina, Eileen Davidson, and Garcelle Beauvais, all from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
While announcing the upcoming TV schedule in May, Bravo dropped a huge bombshell. A new spinoff, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, was in the works. At the same time, the network announced that The Real Housewives of New York and The Real Housewives of New Jersey were off the schedule for the foreseeable future. RHONY just underwent a complete cast overhaul in 2023. And rumor has it that RHONJ will undergo a complete reboot before returning, too.
Very little is known about the new spinoff besides the location. The cast is a secret, and Bravo hasn’t revealed when RHORI will premiere. So, without any information, fans began to speculate. A popular and ‘in-the-know’ social media account @BravoBabe teased on social media this week that a “familiar” reality TV star is joining the new Real Housewives show. They clarified that it wasn’t another Bravolebrity.
One person guessed singer Vanessa Carlton as the mysterious RHORI cast member. But one Bachelor Nation star dominated the speculation.

Who Is Ashley Iaconetti?
Ashley Iaconetti was a contestant on Season 19 of The Bachelor, but she’s more famous for her time on Bachelor In Paradise. She appeared on Seasons 2 and 3 of the spinoff. While she left the beach single both times, she reconnected with her Season 2 co-star, Jared Haibon. Their friendship eventually turned romantic.
They wed in 2019 and have two sons, Dawson and Hayden. Ashley Iaconetti Haibon co-hosts the Almost Famous podcast with fellow Bachelor Nation alum Ben Higgins. She lives in Rhode Island with her husband, and they own a coffee shop in South Kingston, RI.
Andy Cohen Addresses Rumors RHONJ Alum Dolores Catania Is Jumping Shows
Another rumor swirling on social media is that RHONJ alum Dolores Catania is joining The Real Housewives of Rhode Island amid the New Jersey spinoff going on pause.
Bravo host Andy Cohen addressed the speculation on The View. He didn’t say it wasn’t true, but he said that the new show was about the women who live in Rhode Island.
