Pat Sajak’s Return Provokes Fans’ Rebellion Against Ryan Seacrest
Wheel of Fortune fans loved seeing Pat Sajak back on their television screens. Sajak hosted the show for decades. When he decided to retire, Ryan Seacrest took over hosting duties. Ryan has had a rough time since the takeover, since he has a different hosting style than Pat did. Now that fans have had another taste of Pat, many are rebelling even harder against Ryan. WOF Pat Sajak Causes Rebellion Against Ryan Seacrest
Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak is causing a rebellion against Ryan Seacrest. Not all fans have been happy with Ryan taking over after Pat’s retirement. However, everyone knew Sajak would be reunited with Vanna White once more when Celebrity Wheel of Fortune rolled around.
Now, that has happened. Pat returned to host the celebrity version of the show. Celebrities are playing to try and win money for their favorite charity. Sam Richardson, Regina Hall, and Randall Park went up against each other in this round.
Randall ended up winning an amazing $88,000. This was quite impressive, but what fans really notice is how much difference there is between Ryan and Pat’s hosting styles.
Fans discussed it all on social media. Here is what some of them said:
- “Watched it. Miss Pat Sajak so much, bring him back.”
- “Pat Sajak knows how to keep the contestants in line.”
- “Once again @RyanSeacrest, when someone doesn’t get the million dollar envelope do what Pat does here instead of just reaching for the envelope making it difficult to know where it was on the wheel.”
- “Nice to see Pat and be reminded of how much better he is at this than Seacrest.”
Back When Pat Retired
When Pat Sajak retired from Wheel of Fortune, fans were devastated. They were even more so once Ryan Seacrest took over hosting duties.
Fans just seem to love Pat’s style more than Ryan’s. They never miss an opportunity to slam him on social media. Most recently, one fan pointed out that Ryan did not remind a player that they could give up their WC for another chance rather than spinning the wheel.
Someone else pointed out that Ryan has only reminded one person during the entire season. Another fan said it would be great if contestants remembered they have a WC on their own, but that doesn’t always happen. So, they believe that it would be nice to have Ryan remind them. The person discussed above actually ended up landing on bankrupt. This could have been avoided if Ryan had reminded them about their WC.
Regardless of whether fans dislike Ryan hosting, Pat Sajak is not coming back. In fact, the celebrity version of Wheel of Fortune was filmed prior to Sajak leaving the show. It is expected that Ryan will take over those hosting duties as well in the future.
