Kristen Doute Reacts To Stassi Reuniting With Lisa Vanderpump
Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute reacted to former BFF Stassi Schroeder reuniting with Lisa Vanderpump on a new reality show. Stassi joined their former SUR boss for Season 2 of Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa. As Bravo fans know, there’s certainly no love lost between Kristen and Lisa. Keep reading for more details.
From Vanderpump Rules To The Valley
As friends and co-stars, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute weathered a lot of storms together. Stassi forgave Kristen for sleeping with her ex-boyfriend, Jax Taylor. But their friendship began to struggle during Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules. Stassi was upset because when she tried to give Kristen relationship advice, Kristen would pretend everything was fine with then-boyfriend Carter.
Bravo fired Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, and a few other cast members following Season 8. They all came under fire for alleged racist behavior. Kristen and Stassi allegedly targeted former co-worker, Faith Stowers and called the police on her for no reason.
Kristen briefly returned for Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules to reconcile with Ariana Madix. However, Stassi Schroeder hasn’t appeared on the Bravo show since her firing in 2020.
Kristen Doute was rehired by Bravo for an all-new show. She’s part of the cast on The Valley alongside Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor.
Kristen Doute Reacts To Stassi Reuniting With Lisa Vanderpump
Bravo fans were upset when Stassi was fired. They begged for her to return to reality TV. They finally got their wish, but it wasn’t for Bravo. Stassi Schroeder joined Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa.
The show, helmed by Lisa Vanderpump, streams exclusively on Hulu. Furthermore, Stassi has her own half-hour docuseries in the works with the streaming service. Stassi Says will also feature her husband, Beau Clark. Hulu hasn’t revealed a premiere date yet.
Like most of the Vanderpump Rules cast, Kristen Doute worked at the SUR, one of Lisa Vanderpump’s Hollywood restaurants. However, she was fired as SURver on Season 3 of the reality show in 2015. Footage of the SUR cooks celebrating Kristen Doute’s firing is still one of the most iconic moments from the Bravo show.

Kristen Doute was fired mainly because Lisa Vanderpump was sick of her attitude. The rift continued throughout Kristen’s time on the show and even today. With no love lost between Kristen and Lisa, how does Kristen feel about her former close friend teaming up with her nemesis?
Kristen Doute said on a recent podcast that she wasn’t surprised to see Stassi reunite with Lisa Vanderpump. “If you have to swallow that pill to do what’s best for you, your family and for your career then get it,” Kristen said.
The former Vanderpump Rules star added, “I commend her because I don’t know if I could have done it. I really don’t.”
Stassi A No-Show At Kristen’s Baby Shower
Needless to say, Lisa Vanderpump didn’t attend Kristen Doute’s recent baby shower. She’s expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Luke Broderick. The couple have been together since 2022. They were expecting a baby before but Kristen sadly miscarried in late 2023.
But she really wants to be a mother, so they quickly started trying again. She announced in November 2024 that she was pregnant again. She’s due to give birth in June.
Kristen’s Valley co-star, Brittany Cartwright, recently threw a surprise baby shower. The event was attended by stars from Vanderpump Rules and The Valley. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Stassi Schroeder wasn’t there.
They were equally surprised to see who was there. Ariana Madix attended the baby shower for her former rival. The two fought over Tom Sandoval in early Vanderpump Rules seasons.

But in Season 10, Ariana discovered that her boyfriend was cheating on her with Rachel Leviss. It was an experience that Kristen Doute could relate to, as Tom cheated on her with Ariana.
The two made up and are now close friends.
