‘Alaskan Bush People’ Noah Brown Claims Ami Using Hardcore Drugs With Rain
Alaskan Bush People fans have seen discourse among the Brown family in recent months, with Noah making claims about various members of his family. Most recently, he has made claims concerning with mother Ami and sister Rain Brown. This also follows legal issues coming out concerning Rain.
Alaskan Bush People‘s Noah Recently Contacted Police Over His Family
On Alaskan Bush People, viewers saw the Brown family, led by Ami and the late Billy Brown, as the survived off the grid in Alaska. The show originally ran from 2014 to 2022.
On the show, Noah was Billy and Ami’s youngest son. Rain was the couple’s youngest daughter.
As shared by The U.S. Sun, Rain was recently arrested back on Friday, April 11. At the time, she was charged with “burglary, malicious mischief and criminal trespassing.” As previously reported, her husband, Josiah Lorton, was also arrested with charges of “burglary and malicious mischief.”
The publication also reported that Noah called the police to check up on his mother and sister just days before the arrest. A welfare check had been conducted on April 7, 2025, according to court papers concerning the burglary investigation.
According to the papers, “Noah Brown reported the following: Mother is ‘couch surfing’ with her daughter Brown, Merry (Rain) and daughter’s aggressive boyfriend Lorton, Josiah at a cabin in Liar’s Cove. [Noah] has tried contacting his mother after receiving a ‘disjointed message’ last night and heard she has been drinking a lot and she is now taking meth that was given by Merry and Josiah.”
Reportedly, Noah also claimed his mother was “off her meds.” He also claimed her condition is “deteriorating.” According to the papers, “Merry is not allowing her to take her medications. Lorton also has guns and is not supposed to have them.”
Rain Shared A Message With Fans Following Her Recent Release
On April 8, an officer contacted Noah. Documents claimed, “I advised Noah that I attempted to contact his mother (Amora Brown.) I also explained to Noah that I had discovered that Amora might be with his sister Merry, aka ‘Rain’ Brown, and Josiah Lorton.”
“Noah suggested that Merry struggles to keep up with taking her medication and thinks that anybody who tries to force her to take it is the devil. Noah continued to explain that Josiah is known to always be armed.”
The officer also spoke with a man who met Josiah and Rain on a job site. He reportedly let them stay at his house when it appeared they were living out of their car. According to the report, “I asked him if he had noticed anything that Josiah and Merry might have had with them. He advised that Josiah and Merry had a large ‘diaper bag’ full of pills.”
Rain and Josiah remained behind bars until April 14, their court date, with the case currently ongoing. After she was released, Rain shared a message on Instagram. As she wrote, “It hurts my heart that my rainbows would choose to believe the lies that my old manager who stole $43,000 from me and abused me…”
“Instead of maybe thinking ‘oh no who is saying this about Rain?’ Not ‘wow what a waste’ it deeply hurts my heart. With all this said I hope y’all will stick around to hear my side of the story. God bless y’all.”
