Isabella Strahan’s Cancer Diagnosis Caused Jealousy Toward Twin
Isabella Strahan went through one of the most difficult chapters of her life when dealing with brain cancer. After everything she had to go through, she recently opened up about the jealousy she felt toward her twin during the worst of her diagnosis. So, what did she have to say recently about that time in her life?
Isabella Strahan’s Cancer Diagnosis Took Center Stage
Prior to her brain cancer diagnosis, Isabella Strahan was like any other young woman eager to begin her college career and start this next chapter of her life as a young adult. However, once she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a type of brain tumor, everything changed.
In addition, because Isabella Strahan’s dad is Michael Strahan, a famous former NFL player and popular news anchor, Isabella’s struggle became something that the public was interested in. So, in addition to having to deal with the reality of everything that she was facing, she also had to deal with it in the public eye as well.
Isabella Opens Up About Jealousy Toward Twin Sister
Even though Isabella Strahan has been in the spotlight more since her cancer battle, she is also a twin. Recently, she opened up about the jealousy she felt as she was dealing with her cancer situation, especially as her twin sister got to carry on with business as usual and live her life.
According to Isabella Strahan, she recently said: “I’d just be looking at everyone’s stories, doing everything. I think the biggest part was seeing my sister, like, ‘Oh, she’s in the Bahamas on spring break and doing all this fun stuff.”
Strahan went on to add: “I was like, ‘Well, I’m sitting in a house.’ I think it was more just like not even seeing people. Just knowing everyone’s life continued, right?”
How Is Isabella Strahan Doing Today?
The good news for Isabella Strahan is, she is doing much better today than she was when she went through the worst of her cancer ordeal. Isabella recently shared a clip on social media showing her as she struggled to walk, as well as showing her as she went through physical therapy.
At the end of the clip, you can see her jogging along a trail outside, and this shows just how far she has come along her journey, especially after everything she has been through. It also seems like her relationship with her twin sister, Sophia, is back to being good as well.
Since being declared cancer-free by doctors in July of 2024, Isabella has been able to get back to living life and making up for some of the time she had missed, which has included traveling and getting to experience events with friends and family.

Isabella Strahan has come a long way since her initial cancer diagnosis, and she has since become an inspiration for many, especially for those people who have been keeping up with her updates every step of the way.
